Violet's POV

The pressure on my head relaxed as Aiden's hand let go.

Mr Jordan's eyes rested in our direction suddenly.

"Miss Violet, Mr Delacroix, to the principal's office, now." His voice came sharp and authoritative.

This can't be happening, it was my first time in class and my second day as a student.

"He started it." I tried to defend myself.

Jordan wouldn't hear another word, he lifted a finger to silence me.

"I prefer when my students are obedient and don't talk back to me."

A snicker sounded from behind me.

"You have something to say, Aiden?" Mr Jordan asked, fixing his gaze past me

All I knew was that I didn't want to be sent to the principal's office.

All eyes were on me as I stood feeling hopeless.

Reva's eyes only held pity for my plight, there was nothing she could do about it.

"Ahhh, let's get on with this already," Aiden grumbled.

He had the nerve to grumble after pulling me into trouble.

"All students, assemble in the great hall now." A voice floated from the speaker box right above Jordan's table.

Jordan's face broke into a smile.

"Great, the two of you will set great examples this semester, now follow me."

Aiden followed immediately, not before throwing a distasteful stare at me, I didn't have an option but to tag behind.

All the other students had filed into the hallway making a long queue into the great hall.

I couldn't see Mr Jordan in front as Aiden's height had him covered.

My eyes went to the width of his back, and the image of him in those dungarees popped into my head again.

The slow movement of his shoulders added a sensual aura to his gait.

I bit my lips when I caught his butt, damn, I am not a butt person, but his ass was giving me some vibes to smack on them.

We were taking a different route from the rest, so I had his ass view all to myself.

He stopped walking suddenly, which made me bump into him.

"Quit staring at my butt?" He faced me with a raised eyebrow, accusing me.

"Hey, I wasn't staring; you just happened to be right in front of me," I said, knowing how insane I sounded.

His forefinger came directly to my forehead poking at it.

"Don't even get any crazy ideas up here, you're not my type."

I scoffed.

"As if, you wish."

Inside, I felt insulted that he'd think of me so little as not being his type.

Girls like Jemma were his type then.

He didn't say anything again, he went on into an open door where Mr Jordan followed.

To my dismay, we were standing directly in front of the entire school.

The school's admin was there, and he looked at me nicely, if only he knew why I was brought up here.

Mr Jordan was talking to the man who I assumed was the principal, since his eyes never left me.

All the students stood in separate columns for their different forms

Jemma as usual was with her group of girls, the look she gave, like one who wanted to strangle me at all costs.

The principal came forward and spoke briefly to the students, welcoming them to school.

The hall went quiet as he spoke, and after a while, he said loudly.

"It's the beginning of another semester, and Aiden Delacroix has already started with his usual nuisances, only this time, he's got a new partner."

My heart dropped to my stomach at the mention of being Aiden's partner.

All I wanted was to be invisible, but now I have been brought before the whole school.

Nothing would save me now from Jemma and her girls.

"Miss Violet, Mr Delacroix, both of you will take over Mr Winston the janitor for a week, it's my way of being lenient on the new student, repeat offenders don't get such." He eyed me.

A soft murmur rose from the crowd, and I took it to be a sign of something to come.

Whew, For one, I was expecting something hefty, I caught a movement at the upper part of the hall.

Vale was watching the entire time, his hands tucked into his pocket, and he looked white.

He suddenly withdrew into the dark.

I thought every student was gathered here, even Reva and Jeremy were not present, so I scanned the entire hall.

To think she'd be here and she isn't.

Probably fuvking with Jeremy now that they have the opportunity.

The principal, Mr Oscar, dismissed the assembly.

In the twinkling of an eye, I was the only one left standing in the great hall.

It felt weird really, I stepped out of the hall, following the same route as everyone else.

All eyes rested on me as I walked past, whispers and fingers were pointing.

My body was starting to recoil, I entered the girls' bathroom I came up to the next.

An escape from my sudden, unwanted popularity, thanks to Aiden Delacroix.

I gripped the sink tightly, wishing I could just break it as I yelled into the mirror.

"Arrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," I screamed.

I opened the water, splashed cool water on my face, and it helped me relax a bit.

I have to get out of this school, somehow, I must find a way to get out of this hellhole.

With a renewed mind, I splashed more water on my face, letting the coolness take effect.

I heard the bathroom door open and shut as I grabbed some toilet paper to dab at my face.

Something doesn't feel right.

I raised my head just in time to see Jemma graba handful of my hair, and slam my head against the sink.

My head throbbed as blood touched the sink.

She caught me unawares, and everything was becoming blurry as I sank to the floor.

"You think you can waltz into the school and take Aiden away from me huh?" She jeered in my face.

I tried to aim for her face with my weak hands, but I wasn't seeing clearly and ended up hitting air instead.

I blinked, trying to stay focused, blood dripped down my forehead, maybe I have a deep cut from the impact with the sink.

There were three others with her, standing, watching me with disgust.

"Thelma, you wanted to show me something." She threw a glance at the slender girl.

"Ohh, she was having fun with Aiden in class." Thelma handed her phone to Jemma.

Jemma shoved the phone in my face.

"What do you have to say about this ?"

I could barely see the image in the phone, my head was throbbing badly, and it felt like I'd pass out any second.

"This will be your last warning bitch, stay away from Aiden, he's my man, except you want to die of course." She shouted into my face.

They all giggled and left me on the ground, in pain and almost losing consciousness.

I managed to stay awake for some time, every time the door opened I felt someone would help me to the clinic or something.

They barely looked at me as they did their business and left.

My eyes began to close, this was it, I was going to die pathetically in this school

Everything went black, I couldn't see or hear anything, except the feel of someone carrying me in their arms.
